Open to everyone – a grand time to be had! Once you’ve done your bit we’ll be providing a welcome and soup, tea, coffee and biscuits (and maybe cake!). Clearing litter from the riverside is the task for the day, but the whole point is to get together and enjoy time out with other locals. And since we’ll be based from Riverside Cottage, it’s a chance to find out more about Nairn River Enterprise and what we might achieve in future.
Not got all day? No bother! Just come along in the morning, or in the afternoon if that suits better. Some of our members will come out with you along some pre-arranged routes. All the equipment is being provided by Highland Council (bags, pick-up sticks, gloves) , so just bring yourself, your family and friends, make sure you’re wrapped up well and not in your Sunday best! If you’ve got some sturdy gloves, by all means bring them too.
Because we’re only a small organisation at the moment we have to ask any young people under 16 to bring an adult with them. But you can bring as many as you like! Maybe your guide, brownie, scout, cub, ATC group could get together and join us?
And likewise, for the others, and more mature groups…Roundtable, Rotary, U3A, Literary Institute, KNC, Sailing Club, Kayak Club, Revolution CT, 91 Club, Angling Association, Allotment Society, Gardening club, Senior Citizens Club, Step-It Up……and more….It would be great if you were represented among those coming along….
