Are you interested in growing your own food? Do you currently grow your own and are looking for support? Pop along to this drop in session –
Green Hive are proud to host this session for the Highland Food Growing strategy –
The Highland Council is currently in the process of developing a Food Growing Strategy for the Highlands, and is making a call to green-fingered Highland residents with an interest in “growing your own food.”
If you are involved in growing your own fruit, vegetables, herbs or flowers or would like to start but don’t know how, then we’d like to hear from you. As part of this strategy will be mapping out all the Grow Your Own activity across the Highlands, from allotments to community orchards and school polytunnels to market gardens, so if you are involved in any of these, please get in touch to let us know about your project.
We would also like to hear about your ideas for the future, challenges and barriers you have experienced, highlight models of best practice and identify opportunities to make growing your own easier.
The drop in session will take place at our Hub in the Links Studios on Grant Street, from 17:30 – 19:30 on the 24/01/20.[googlemaps https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d2138.5807168068254!2d-3.8702576844353804!3d57.58759755646539!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x48857fc62bde38f9%3A0x491feb26f7ae0cd1!2sGreen%20Hive!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1579017932969!5m2!1sen!2suk&w=400&h=300]
