That went well!

The orchard’s looking great just now though the blossom’s fading. Fortune smiled on us last Sunday when the rain passed and the sun came out. Around 50 or 60 people came along with their picnics to enjoy the craiq, games and even some impromptu music. Here’s to the next time…

Picnic in the Park

Sunday 13th May from 12pm. Our first event in the Nairn Viewfield Community Orchard! Bring your picnic blankets and lunch, and join us to celebrate spring and welcome the orchard in to bloom.  There will be a seed, plant and garden tool swap table so bring along any of your extras to share. Treasurer wanted

We are looking for a volunteer treasurer to help Green Hive develop and maintain our financial management system. This is an exciting time to support an ambitious local community group to grow. We now have charitable status and multiple funding streams. Our volunteer treasurer will support the organisation to respond to the complexities of managing grant funding as well as accounting for spending and advising our staff member and board on budgeting and fundraising. Nairn River Enterprise Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2017

New members wanted to join our board. The AGM takes place this year on Thursday 23rd November, starting at 7.30 pm in the Green Hive Hub at the Old Links School, Grant Street, Fishertown. We will be delighted to receive applications from among our wider membership to join our board at the AGM. Board members are Directors and Trustees of the charity and steer the work of the organisation.
